The Audit Department is the department of the Court tasked with the responsibility of providing a complete and continuous audit of the accounts and records of revenue and expenditure, assets, allocated stores. its functions also include measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of Internal Control System in the Court as well as advising the Court in the formulation, execution and review of Audit policies and Programs.

1. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of Internal Control System in the Court.

2.  Provision of a complete and continuous Audit of the Accounts and records of revenue and expenditure, assets, allocated and unallocated stores.

3. Advising the authority on the formulation, execution and review of Audit policy and programs.
