THE AMDC MISSION
TO SUPPLEMENT THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES FOR JUSTICE BY PROVIDING ENHANCED, TIMELY, COST EFFECTIVE AND USER-FRIENDLY ACCESS TO JUSTICE.
THE AMDC AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To provide enhanced, timely and cost effective access to justice which could reduce or eliminate partied frustration with the justice delivery system.
- To supplement the avenues for justice by making available additional doors through which disputes could be resolved.
- To develop the “Managerial Judges” concept and design how best settlement could be achieved among parties.
- To utilize the immense resource of retired Judges through services in mediation, arbitration and other ADR mechanisms.
- To fast track criminal trails and bring closure to victims of crime through the deployment of plea-bargain procedure available under the Administration of Criminal Justice Act.
- To provide state of the art facilities and venue for the training of stakeholders in the justice delivery system and provide manpower for the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism.
